It’s Been A Long Time Coming

Once more, I need to apologize for not writing for so long. TJ and I have been writing, editing… living our lives. There’s not a lot going on. At the same time, there’s so much going on.
I have a new manuscript at the BETA readers right now. This one should be out for Christmas presents, but it is NOT a Christmas story. The storyline is a tough journey about loss, lies, redemption. It doesn’t fall into any of the genre I generally write in. I’ve struggled writing and editing. Stretching…
TJ is writing in a few different genres, as he generally does. Sci-fi, fantasy stuff, police drama… I can’t keep up. He’s seriously prolific.
We’ve written a kids’ book about a fairy who meets one of TJ’s characters, Shaméd the Wizard. This manuscript draws children into the Mirror Gate Chronicles world. I am considering doing the art for the cover and inside myself. Eek. I even bought a drawing pad to use. I guess we’ll see. I never wanted to write kids’ lit. The background picture is the character. I haven’t edited it yet. Please be patient.
Plus, TJ and I have another murder mystery we’re writing together. This is a sequel to Death at Hell’s Canyon Quarry. But don’t expect that one until next year. There’s lots of writing to do. On all the books.
In the meantime, everyone is well. No diseases, except for TJ’s shoulders causing him pain. We saw a ortho guy who is getting an MRI, but otherwise, TJ got a shot of cortisone in the more painful shoulder. He may have to have a total shoulder replacement.
As you all know, it’s Autumn. But Autumn in Phoenix means 90* weather. So we might want to call it little summer. This weather is akin to the Midwest during July. Things grow. They pollinate. People in Phoenix start their veggie gardens. There’s lots of sneezing that isn’t C19. True story.
