I’m sorry for not posting (again). I’ve been searching for something to say. I’ve been waiting for nine months of sadness to wane. Too many people have left us this year. Then the last couple of days [here in Phoenix] have been gray. Apparently, I have a little of those gray-skies blues. Some people in my family wonder why I turn on lights as I go through rooms. This must be why. Regardless, I know a Savior who gets us through even the darkest of nights, so I will be fine. Psalm 23:4 – “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” (NLT)
We had an amazing time at our last book event. We sold books, we schmoozed with a lot of people, we generally had a good time. Sadly, we had to leave the pups at home, but with two dogs, now, bringing them would have been problematic. I want to take them everywhere. Ruby is manageable, but Gracie is big and young. She want to run, chase a ball, and generally cause havoc… But we love her.

I haven’t found another story inside my brain/soul, yet. I think about writing another murder mystery, but that would be three… not a bad thing, yet, I’d rather write the romances. Not like those pulp fiction things… Not so Hallmark-y, either. Some life stories where things are messy, but work out (usually) in the end, with a Christian twist. I do like my murder mysteries, though. I like my characters, especially Rebecca Tsosie. She’s a young woman who desires to be like her father who is the sheriff of the town where they live. Yet, she wants to be more, as well. I haven’t given up on her… She has great potential as she moves forward in her life.
TJ is writing, writing, writing on a story he began years ago. So I guess he’s editing, editing, editing, as well as writing. This one is science fiction. I’m not sure if there’s a fantasy element. Regardless, I am sure the story will be a good one. I respect his ability to make stuff up. I am not sure how he does that. I mean, I make stuff up, but my stuff is on this planet. I have a more realistic viewpoint, I guess. TJ literally hears and sees his stories in his dreams. He translates them to his documents, then adds more until “voila!” a book.
The good news? Our family is well. Simone is here for a while. Nasif is in Texas learning to be an airman, & Elektra is my special angel. The other two are my special angels, too, but they are grown up people… I have the privilege of homeschooling Elektra. She’s bright, intelligent, and funny. That is a joy for my life.
If you’ve read our books, please post a review on Facebook, Amazon, or anywhere you want! We appreciate the attention.
