Hi, everyone. I hope your April/Spring has been lovely. The weather in Arizona is warming up, and way too fast for me. I can’t believe I’ve been using the air conditioning since the middle of last week. Yuck.
TJ and I were in Globe on Saturday, for the Globe Paracon Event. We had a good time, but we’re thinking this isn’t the best venue for us. I am scoping out other events like Arts Festivals, or other Book Festivals. If you hear of anything local to Arizona, give me a shout out…
The desert in Arizona is incredible this year due to the rains we had throughout the winter. Water ran in streams and creeks all along the US 60. Wild flowers were abundant, as well. Here are a couple examples.

In the meantime, TJ has posted his new short story anthology, TJ’s Shorts, onto Amazon and Kindle. You can find the book HERE. He put it under Tim Boyer, but I found it on Amazon under TJ Boyer. Here’s the cover:

You can find TJ’s Shorts on TJ’s page, as well. I will be getting that posted right after writing this blog.
In the meantime, TJ’s novel, Lost at Sea is almost finished. We are scouting out some cover art as we speak. This story is a surprising drama adventure mob story. The hero is sucked into the criminal life, then ends up on a desert island, stranded without his memory. How does he find his way home? How does he ever find redemption? The book should be out in time for the Payson Author and Artist Festival. Stand by.
I, too, am writing a redemption story. The working title is The Prodigal’s Brother, but who knows? I am only about 15K deep, and the story may change before the end of the writing and editing.
As always, I would love to hear from you in the comments section. We appreciate it if you forward and share this blog.
Thanks from the Mirror Gate Chronicles Team.
