I do Believe That a Change Is Gonna Do Me Good

The Mirror Gate Chronicles Team finished another successful event at the Verde Valley Comic Expo, yesterday! We had a great time, schmoozed with other authors and artists, and sold a few books! We are thankful to the Verde Valley Library for having this event! The monies generated (from the event) go to reading for children in Verde Valley. That is a great reason.

For right now, we only have one more event schedule for this year. That is our long-standing relationship with Payson Book Festival in July. Right before that, we will be traveling to Michigan for the Boyer Family Reunion! Woo hoo! That being said, I am looking for more events. We will let you know what comes up.

TJ and I are working on a couple books at this time. I am revamping our Steampunk novella, The Flight of the Night Bird. Due to a tragic event here in Phoenix, several changes have to be made. I am not going into those events. Enough is going on in the media. We want to be associated with positive events, not add to the media feeding frenzy. That is enough of that topic.

TJ is fleshing out his vampire story, while I also [slowly] write ideas into our murder/mystery, as well. We wrote Death at Hell’s Canyon Quarry a couple years ago. We’ve decided this story needs a part two. We are carrying on with Detective Allen Anderson and Rebecca Tsosie on their new adventure. Bodies of young men, football players, are showing up in the Yavapai County Community College football field. How are these men connected? What caused this tragedy? We will find out as Becky and Detective Anderson investigate. Standby while TJ and I hash through the details. Also, I am cooking/writing through The Cedars of Lebanon Cookbook. This is challenging because I have to cook 90% of the foods, photograph them, and add the photos, all while adjusting the recipes. The original writers of the recipes more or less assumed people already knew how to cook some of these foods, but I am assuming people don’t. I want this cookbook to be good, healthy, easy to follow recipes.

In the meantime, The Dirty End of the Needle is out on Amazon, Kindle, and Audible! I could use some readers and reviewers! This is a literary fiction story loosely based on the Prodigal Son story from the Bible. Blood, sweat, and tears literally & figuratively went into this story. The writing remains clean, but I went up to the edge of hell with my characters.

Additionally, TJ’s book, Reclaiming Eddie Bond is available, along with all the Mirror Gate Chronicles Books. This story is a mobster/adventure drama with interesting twists and turns!

Please remember, TJ and I are independent authors. We are Christians, so we write cozy fiction/family friendly stories. We need readers and reviewers to help us on our writing adventures. We appreciate all your comments, reviews, and support in our endeavors.
