Good morning, March!
Did you know March 1, is the meteorological date for Spring? This is the date the weathermen use. The rest of us are looking at March 20~. Pretty funny, right?

Well, I started my blog with the title, I Won’t Be Troubled, because we are into the bombing of Iran by two days now. War and death makes me sad. At the same time, I can consider the circumstances of the people in Iran, particularly the women who are considered almost as slaves. In the regime we’re bombing, women are forced to wear hajib, forced to cover themselves completely from head to toe. There’s no freedom of speech, no freedom of religion, no owning anything. Only men are allowed any rights, but within the Sharia religious rules.
I can’t be upset about the USA & Israel, who by the way, are protecting themselves from Iran’s threats of annihilation for years. Oh, and years. I understand why there was little warning by the administration, as well. Why should we warn the enemy? Why should we warn anti-American groups/forces?
A lot of people are concerned about the War Powers Act. From my understanding, our president is within his rights to attack a country considered to be a threat. I believe he was telling them to cooperate with the nuclear laws/requests he put forth. Iran apparently wouldn’t cooperate. This president, unlike so many before him, didn’t blink. He didn’t flinch first. He told them there would be real action. There was, and now Khamenei is dead.

He has a given amount of time, within the law, to attack, then to get out of the situation, unless Congress gives him the go ahead. In Argentina, the new president has increased military ties with the US. They want us to help them become a democratic nation. I hope this happens in Iran, as well.
As a Christian person, I want to seek peace. I want to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what our Lord told us to do. I am sure many people will hate what I’ve said above. We live in a corrupt world. We are not supposed to be part of this world, but awaiting the new world Jesus promised us. In the meantime, we are supposed to pray for our leaders. So I pray. A lot.

TJ & I also write! Today, I blog. Then I edit one of TJ’s stories. I am waiting for my current manuscript to come back from my BETA readers. If I haven’t explained the BETA readers before, they are a few people who read my stories to look for errors or gaps in the writing. They are awesome. I can’t wait to get this manuscript back. The story is a western historical fiction romance. I hope some of you will enjoy this one. The title is Under the Mogollon Rim. If you’re a Zane Grey fan, you make like this one!
In the meantime… TJ & I have an event down in Tombstone, AZ. Yes, Tombstone, the place where Wyatt Earp & Doc Holliday fought the battle of the OK Corral. This event is called Tombstone Festival of Western Books. Check out our events page for directions. This will be March 13!

We would love to see you at this event. We’d love to hear from you in writing, as well. We appreciate everyone of you!
