Finally! TJ Boyer & I are proud to announce the arrival of The Man Who Rode Dragons, now on Amazon, for your reading pleasure. This story follows Bill & Larry, who by a peculiarity in the vortex, find themselves in the realm of magical creatures. This is a place where dreams come from. After spending two days there, Bill and Larry return but have no memories of the place. Then, the day before graduation from Arizona State University, two people arrive from the other realm. They need Bill and Larry’s help. Neither Bill nor Larry remembers anything about their trip to the other side. The two from the other realm return their memories to them. When that happens, they agree to go back. There is one glitch. Diana, Larry’s girlfriend, wants to go as well. During the memory transfer, she learns what they remember. Now the three are off on an adventure they never expected.
We were also able to get our children’s book out, Elektra Fairy Meets Shamed the Wizard! A young fairy princess, Elektra, explores her home with her friend, Nasif, a hummingbird! One day, Elektra meets a wizard named Shaméd, who offers to take her on an adventure far from home. Elektra sees so many new sights! But danger awaits. Does Elektra escape? What new friends does she make?
We, at the Mirror Gate Chronicles Team, have a lot going on. Last week, we were at the Paulden Pop Con, in Paulden, Arizona. This is a small, new pop culture convention. We had a lot of fun, but the weather was hot. We did fairly well, as there were only a couple booths with authors.
This Saturday, we’ll be in Payson, Arizona, for the Payson Book Festival. If you’re getting out of the Valley of the Sun, Payson is a lovely, much cooler place. All about books, the festival features about 80 authors… You can have lunch at many restaurants in Payson, see the Zane Grey Cabin at Green Valley Park, and do all kinds of fun things. We hope to see you there.
Next Monday, TJ & I will be beginning our summer trip to the Boyer Family Reunion in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We are taking the travel trailer (which needs a name)… I love that dumb trailer. Taking it, is like traveling with our own home. All our stuff that we need is inside. We park at night, get out of the truck, get inside the trailer. No one can tell us we can’t bring our sweet dog, either. I never want to stay in a hotel, again, although when we go to Washington, we’ll have to do that. Gag. That trip is in August. Long story short? The price to drag the trailer onto the ferry is exorbitant. We can’t wait to see the family at the reunion. That’s the most important thing.
The younger(ish) grandkids have birthdays coming up. Nasif will be 20, and Elektra will be 10. That will happen just as we return from Michigan. We will have to bring presents. LOL Their birthdays are back to back, which is pretty fun.
As always, we love to hear from you. I will be photographing the book festival & the trip. TJ & I will be on our 2nd great adventure. Just the two of us this time! Let me know what you like to hear about as we travel. I will post some fun things on FB & X. Sorry, I dislike Instagram intensely. Maybe it’s because of my age? I don’t know. Anyway, may God’s love be with you!
