Our House

Is a very fine house. We are all relieved to be home, yet at the same time, I wish we were still traveling. The trip was fun, stressful, and the granddaughter asked if we were home yet about forty times on the way home. She was a treasure, though. This was her very first trip. We were gone a total of two weeks. She hung out with Ruby the dog. Ruby loves her so much. She missed playing Minecraft with her sister who lives in Montana.

That being said, we all breathed a sigh of relief when we pulled up to our driveway. Granddaughter lives across the street so I texted Papa to come get her. He came, she went… TJ and I unloaded the important stuff. The next day, we unloaded everything else.

We’ve been recuperating since. We’re almost there. Having our trailer really helped with the resting portion, believe it or not. We crawled into bed each night as if we were at home. We slept eight plus hours, usually. Each morning, I made coffee for myself. TJ doesn’t like coffee. I think someone dropped him on his head when he was a baby. Wait. He was thrown onto his head in a car accident once. That has to be the reason.

In the meantime, I have almost finished the rework of the Night Bird story. This is a steampunk novel mainly written by TJ, but by the time I’m finished with the thing, I will be the other half of the author line. We’ve gone from 28,000 to 40,000+ words. TJ is good at science fiction. I’m good at filler and editing. We make a wonderful team. It’s a good thing too, because we’ve been married half a century. Life would suck if we didn’t get along.

We have this event coming up a week from Saturday. September 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. 2024–Prescott Valley Public Library’s Fandomania, in the Findlay Events Center, 3201 Main St, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.

We would love it if you find us there. Wear your costumes. Bring your whole cosplay club! All our books will be represented, especially TJ’s the Mirror Gate Chronicles series. You can find them all at the link, or go to our website under TJ’s name. (click here). Everything we’ve written is available on Amazon paperbacks, Kindle, or Audiobook. I love audio books, btw. I know a lot of people like to listen while they drive. Audio books are a fun way to get all your reading in that you don’t have time for otherwise.

TJ and I love to see your reviews. We love to read your comments about our books. Thank you for being our fans, family, and friends.
