There used to be be this little toggle on WordPress blogs. You could choose to publish your posts at the top of your page. But in the genius minds of software folks, they’ve moved the option to someplace next to impossible to find. Apparently, you have to publish the article first, before you can assign it to the top of your posts. Logic has fled. They tell me they if I want my posts to display in reverse chronological order, I have to unstick every single one of my blogs since I began writing them… all the way back to about 8 years ago. That’s like 40 posts, more or less. Only considering this is exhausting. I think WordPress wants me to cry.

Regardless, TJ and I had a good time at the Payson Book Festival. Mind you, the event wasn’t very lucrative for us. I can’t figure out why human beings would sit in sweltering Phoenix, when they could come up to Payson where the weather is much less sweltering. That being said, a couple of my friends did show up. I want to thank you, Diana and Marcia.

Imagine if 10 or 20 of you had shown? We could’ve rocked that festival! You could have gone to the Green Valley Park to see the Zane Grey cabin, or you could have gone up the road to where the creek has an access to play in the cool water. Or had lunch at one of the many fun restaurants in town. Occasionally, TJ and I go to Payson to have lunch. We look at the pine trees. We smell the fresh air. We play in the creek. There are a million things to do.
Our next event is in Prescott Valley. Fandomania will be at the Findlay Event Center, September 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. This is a big comic book (and other stuff) event that is family oriented. Whoever loves costuming and all the paraphernalia that goes with it, should join us. Come by and say hi. By the way, September is still very hot in Phoenix. Prescott will be about 10 to 15 degrees cooler. You should drive up.
