Introducing… (drum roll)

Cheyenne on Her Mind by Elizabeth Ajamie-Boyer! Release date: 2/1/2023, on Amazon & Kindle.

Edgier than sweet or cozy romance…

After a heart-breaking, tumultuous divorce, Ruth Adams runs to Cheyenne, WY, to begin anew. Her dream to own her own home, a business, and perhaps to have a fresh, new romance only leads to trouble. What about her family in Phoenix? Will they understand Ruth’s desire to go on a walk-about? Will her new friends, her new church, and perhaps a dreamy new man lead to the new life Ruth pines for? Or will the entire enterprise end in disaster?

There it is! Two weeks from now, we will be releasing this book I accidently wrote. Well, the fact of the matter is, I never wanted to write romance. I love historical fiction. Cheyenne on Her Mind is not that. Then someone mentioned my first three books, though historical, were also romance. ARGH! But, it’s okay.

When I say this story is edgier than sweet or cozy fiction, I mean there are tough issues in the story. However, the language and physical stuff remains pretty clean. I believe you can write a good story without graphic, ugly language or scenery. I believe books like that appeal to many people. I hope you agree with me.

In the meantime, TJ has the short story book, TJs Shorts, and I am waiting for him to make time to review the stories with me one more time. We also need a cover. After that, his will be ready for release, as well. We may have it ready by the middle of February.

I am line editing his book Lost at Sea. It is not cozy or sweet. (laughter goes here) This story is an action-packed mobster book. The main character ends up trapped, alone, on a tiny island after an accident with the cruise ship he’s on. He can’t remember who he is, but has in-depth dreams hinting at his past life.

This one is great if you love action adventure novels.

On the 24th, (yes, in one week on Tuesday) we will be in Prescott at the library at 6 PM. TJ and I will be presenting World Building in Novels. He’s had the pleasure of doing this presentation at the Payson Book Festival, as well.

At the end of the month, January 28, is the Tempe Fan Con at the library on Rural and Southern Avenue in Tempe. It runs from 10 AM to 4 PM. If you are in the Valley of the Sun, this is a free event. You should come over. Wear a costume if you do that sort of thing. Even if you aren’t very nearby, you should come over!

We hope to see you soon.
