Please accept my apology.
We got the plague a couple weeks ago, so I’ve been not feeling like typing. Additionally, I’ve had to remove my podcast interview with Susan Wingate. She taking sabbatical until the New Year.
Other than feeling crappy, I have a book out with my BETA readers, and another one pending. I can’t wait to get the first one back. It is the history/biography of my great-grandmother, Miriam Baalbeki-Attalla. She came to the USA as a thirteen year-old, and her story is pretty amazing.
After that, I will give the romance (Christian) novel I wrote to the BETA readers for their first impressions. Can’t wait for that, too! I have plans to maybe send it to Hallmark, and a couple other places that take non-agented work.
In the meantime, I’m just starting another murder mystery. It’s slow going. LOL I sent it to TJ for some input ’cause I have blank mind syndrome. (what do I do? what do I do?). He is prolific and anything he suggests, I will add. The murder mystery has a great secondary protagonist, Becky Tsosie. She’s a Native American Navajo woman, who’s in college studying criminal justice. She will join Detective Alan Anderson, again, to figure out who’s killing professors at the college she attends!
We don’t have any events until November. Then we will be up north in Camp Verde, I think, at another Author Expo. This should be a good one, right before Christmas. People will be buying presents (I hope). Books are great Christmas presents!
TJ is writing and working on his historical fiction vampire novel. It sounds like it will be really good… Yes. Historical fiction vampires. Actual events where vampires may (or may not) have been involved in history.
That’s all I have for now. Please feel free to leave comments, and also forward this blog to your family and friends!
Peace, and stay healthy.
